Vahid Chaychi presents
Antioxidants Found in Tea Are A Must For Healthy Skin posted at Healthoma.com. If only we could get rid of the Caffeine. In fact, we can. Donna Gates sells green tea and black tea extracts at her Body Ecology site.
John presents
How Do I Know Which Vitamins To Take? posted at OhCash.com, saying, “Vitamins and minerals are found in the foods you eat. Your body needs them, in different proportions, to grow, respond to disease, and remain active and healthy. If you eat a balanced diet each day and keep in perfect health, you may have little need for taking vitamins.” I agree John. This article is a great introduction to vitamin therapy.
Craig Harper presents Grooming Our Kids for Failure posted at Renovate your life with Craig. Man, do I see this everywhere. Our kids are so bored at school sometimes. Seems all the effort the teachers put in, they still can’t keep up with the brightest. Homeschooling is looking to be the best way for our kids. Child centred learning I say.
Wenchypoo presents Oh No—Not Another Detox! posted at Wisdom From Wenchypoo’s Mental Wastebasket It’s not another article about another detox thank god. Just common sense and a step in the direction of nourishment. Go Wenchypoo. BTW Wenchypoo your other submission (Eaters Digest) needs some more research before it can be considered Nourishing. Demonization of all fats is a mistake most nutritionist make. Fat from grassfed, organically and ethically raised animals is the most nourishing thing a human can eat. See Lori Lipinski’s Taking the Fear out of Eating Fat.
David Richeson presents How to Keep Yourself Healthy posted at 360 Degree Success saying, “Simple steps to keeping yourself healthy and preventing illness.” David includes keeping his body Alkaline. We suggest you check out Sally Fallon’s comments on the alkaline gig.
JoLynn Braley presents What is Crystalline Fructose? posted at The Fit Shack saying, “Many may think that certain “health drinks” are nourishing (they appear similar to bottled water), when they actually contain the unhealthy ingredient of crystalline fructose. This post explains exactly what crystalline fructose is.” Wow, what an eye opener. JoLynn, you’d like Michael Pollan’s Omnivore’s Dilemma. He writes about Corn’s success in the modern world.
TherapyDoc presents Obesity Wars posted atEveryone needs therapy? Lessons from a family therapist saying, “This doc suggests that nourishment comes in many forms, and that school administrators and parents be cautious in programming for fitness to the feelings of children who are having problems controlling their weight.”
Hueina Su presents Life Balance Lessons: 7 Keys to Avoid Burnout posted at Intensive Care for the Nurturer’s Soul saying, “Chronic stress could lead to burnout, which could greatly impact a person’s physical & emotional health, relationships, work, and everyone related to him/her. When you are burned out, you can’t function at your best, and everyone you care about suffer with you. It’s not difficult to see that there is much at stake. Here are some proactive steps you can take today to prevent (or overcome) burnout.” Thanks Huenia, Nurturer Burn Out is very common. An interesting comment about Being in Service came to us recently. The crux of it is that conflict only occurs when one is not in full service to all that is. It begs to question then, what am I doing when I’m stressed out? Am I serving something less than all that is?
Al Nye presents What, exactly, is a “free range” chicken? posted at Al Nye The Lawyer GuyThis post makes me feel so grateful for our gorgeous local farmers and the respect with with they treat their free ranged animals. Thanks Lawyer Guy.
savingadvice presents How To Pick Perfect Fruit posted at baselle’s Financial Diary saying, “5 tips to picking perfect produce” Great Post. Worth a Read.
Hal Sommerschield, Ph.D. presents Planting Daffodils in Your Life; posted at North Star Mental Fitness Blog My favourite quote from this nourishing post is “Where you think you have barren mountainsides in your life, you can create beauty”
Trent presents How The Farm Bill Affects Your Wallet And Your Health - And Ten Ways To Eat Healthy and Cheap Anyway
posted at The Simple Dollar saying, “How the farm bill affects American diets - and how to fight back.” My favourite thing that my grandchildren will say to me is “What did you call those places that used to be where the community gardens are now? Supermarkets?”
James D. Brausch presents An Apple A Day? posted at Weight Loss Dude
